Klingon D-7c Battlecruiser (IKS G'Roth Variant)

The iconic Klingon Battlecruiser as showcased in the memorable episode "Trials, and Tribbleations" of Deep Space Nine, specifically on board the IKS G'Roth. The ship is affectionately known among fans as the "D-7c" due to its distinctive appearance. Its coloring was meticulously based on the Greg Jein studio model built for that pivotal episode, carefully recreated in a well-lit room. Interestingly, the ship appeared much greener during the show, although it's likely that this extra hue was added post-production. The actual physical studio model color closely resembled the battleship gray we saw in The Original Series. To replicate the original studio model as accurately as possible, I deliberately avoided adding extraneous details found on the classic battlecruiser. Instead, I opted for a more authentic look by incorporating traditional Klingon design elements such as K'tinga-style "feathers," "pinstriping," and copper-colored accents in place of the original's chrome finish.
