Klein bottle piggy bank (coin bank)
myminifactory
A brilliant gift idea for a frugal mathematician who doesn't despise topology. This is a coin bank in the shape of a Klein bottle that accepts euro coins (though it may not be compatible with other currency coins). The design looks fantastic when printed with transparent or semi-transparent material and a single perimeter thick wall. To ensure you get the desired thickness, please verify the G-code in the g-code viewer. If the wall is thicker than one perimeter, choose an STL file with thinner walls or adjust the extrusion width in advanced settings. For stronger prints, select the 1.5mm thick wall option. The numbers in the filename indicate the wall thickness: "Klein_bottle_piggybank_01" corresponds to a 0.1mm wall thickness, while "Klein_bottle_piggybank_02" represents a 0.2mm wall thickness, and so on until the thickest option, "Klein_bottle_piggybank_15", which has a 1.5mm wall thickness. For a more visually appealing print, consider lowering the layer height towards the top of the Klein bottle. If you have any questions or would like to suggest alternative wall thicknesses or bottom thickness options, please leave a comment and I'll do my best to accommodate your request.
