Klein bottle piggy bank (coin bank)
thingiverse
A perfect gift for a thrifty mathematician who isn't among those who despise topology! This piggy bank in the shape of a Klein bottle is a great idea. You deposit money into a hole and it travels through a tunnel to reach the belly of the Klein bottle. The design looks fantastic when printed with transparent or semi-transparent material, especially with one thin wall. When printing, make sure to check the G-code viewer to confirm that the wall is only one perimeter thick. The numbers in the file name indicate wall thickness: "Klein_bottle_piggybank_01" means 0.1mm and "Klein_bottle_piggybank_15" means 1.5mm. To achieve a better look, try lowering layer height towards the top of the Klein bottle. If you have any questions or want different wall thicknesses or bottom thickness, make a comment and I'll see what can be done. Printer Settings Printer: Renkforce RF1000 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Notes: It can also be printed without supports, depending on your printer settings.
