The tissue box sits atop a small stand on my desk, its transparent plastic container filled to the brim with fluffy white sheets. I reach out and lift the lid, pulling out two tissues for my runny nose. The softness of the paper feels soothing against my skin as I blow gently, trying to clear the congestion.
