The suction cup adapter of my navigation device keeps breaking off because of the curvature of the dashboard on my Ford Focus, especially during hot days - it just falls down. So I created this adhesive adapter disc to increase the sticky surface of the suction cup adapter. My first attempt placed the radius of curvature in the middle of the disc, but that didn't turn out so great for me. That's why I came up with a second version that fits perfectly on my Ford Focus MK3 dashboard. To make it work, you simply attach this disc to the dashboard using double-sided adhesive tape and then place your standard navigation suction cup on top - it's available as an accessory. Here are the specs: the outer diameter of the disc is 68mm, while the crown height at the highest point of the radius measures 5mm. I designed it to be printed from ABS plastic so that it can handle the hot temperatures inside a car.
