I spotted a design flaw in the original plan. To secure the clamp pieces, how do you propose to get them together with the rod already in place? I came up with a fix - use Tinkercad to create a print-in-place solution and test it out. It works like a charm. You'll need the KLAMP parts from the original design. I created some 3mm pins, printed them, and gave them a quick clean/sand job. Then, all I had to do was press them in and voila - my printer is working without screws! To ensure strong pins, print them flat on the bed with horizontal layers. Printing them stacked like washers makes them weak.
