Klackers (aka Clackers, Ker-Bangers, Klick Klacks)

My kiddos will love these retro toys, inspired by a classic 70s favorite that my mom introduced me to when I was young. Let's start by printing a pair of balls using one of the two STL files provided. Next, we'll need to thread a string through each ball - a shoestring works great, but feel free to use a keyring if you prefer. I left the string fairly long so it can be adjusted as needed. When it comes to print settings, the options are limitless. I opted for 0% infill with 10 bottom and top layers, along with 10 shells. While they may seem light, I'm confident that adding more weight will only make them more prone to bruising. If you decide to reprint, consider going with 50 shells for a near-solid finish. I chose Taulman 618 Nylon for its exceptional durability - it's nearly indestructible! However, be aware of the potential risks and dangers associated with this material. As I've read, these toys were once recalled due to a tendency to explode if subjected to excessive force. With that in mind, please exercise caution when selecting your materials.
