KK2.0 Flight Control Board Case

KK2.0 Flight Control Board Case

thingiverse

A lightweight and low-profile case is available for Hobbyking's KK2.0 Multirotor flight controller. The case was printed on a UP!, managing the overhangs on the lid effectively. However, it remains uncertain if this design will work with other printers. While testing the fit with a friend's KK board, it was noticed that newer boards have a JST connector for the buzzer, whereas older ones had a servo connector. The JST plug can still be fitted in the servo hole by carefully swapping the terminals to work upside down. This design is a work-in-progress, with plans to fix the pins that sit slightly proud of the top and possibly add holes to the base (currently using sticky pads). A single JWT connector and a single PCB header pin are used for the voltage connector (hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__29277__JWT_connectors_1_pin_1set_bag.html). Despite these potential improvements, the case's crash protection capabilities remain uncertain.
