A 3D RepRap Delta printer boasts a wooden frame that can be manufactured using a CNC machine or laser cutter. Key features comprise of 3mm threaded rods for platform, carriage, and connector rod bolts; 8mm smooth rods and LM8UU bearings (three per carriage) to enhance stability; Z min probe for automatic bed leveling; a servo-activated Z min probe mounted on the frame; an LCD control panel; compact design with minimal footprint; a heated bed supporting both ABS and PLA printing; a 170 x 170 x 170mm print volume; and compatibility with 3mm filament. Additionally, there's a handy reel holder, and DXF files are available for download. The wooden parts require cutting on a CNC with a 3.175mm bit using 5mm MDF or 9mm ply, painted on both sides before machining.
