I created this kitty cat head design over a year ago as a ring concept, and now I'm reusing my model to make earrings that will fit snugly on 6g and 8g plugs. You can also consider using sterling hooks or attaching it to a cord for a unique necklace look. I crafted this sculpture in ZBrush over a year ago and recently gave it a facelift using Meshmixer. For optimal results, I recommend printing slowly and choosing the smallest layer height suitable for your printer's stepper motor. To get started, try printing two earrings at once on adjacent platforms - this will cut down the overall print time to approximately 1hr20min. Keep in mind that I've tested these prints extensively using PLA, and they withstood multiple drop tests without a scratch. And let's face it: every 3D printed piece deserves to be dropped at least once!
