My Kitfox airplane needed an upgrade to the control stick grip and PTT button. I found LizardGrip bike grips with locking rings would fit the OD of the control stick perfectly. I chose "LizardGrip Bearclaw". The push-button is a UR168 with an internal 12-24vdc LED that illuminates the blue ring that surrounds the button. Illuminating this LED is optional. This switch has a nice haptic feedback which I really like. The thread of the pushbutton is M16x1.0. The model has the threads built in, but after printing I ran a tap through it to clean them up. Threading the 3d printed adapter eliminated the need to use the provided nut. The switch comes with an oring, I removed this also. The lower locking ring of the LizardGrip locks against the control stick. The upper locking ring locks the button adapter in place. I used 4pin JST SM male/femal connectors to neaten up the wiring and to make future control stick removal easier. If you make one be sure to post a Make!
