Kite Foilboard Foot Hooks

Here I present my kite hydrofoil foot hooks. After numerous tests and broken hooks, I've landed on this shape. Although they may still break, they're likely to be more durable than your board. To mount them securely, use washers, and keep in mind that hooks put extra stress on board inserts compared to straps - you can easily pull out the inserts. I shared iterations v9 and v13. For v13, I printed the hook lying flat on its back, which should make it stronger and require less support material than v9. If you'd like to modify it, the Fusion 360 file is available. To add extra protection, cover these hooks with pieces of eva foam mats or any other flexible soft foam.
