Kite cargo dropper

Kite cargo dropper

Easily attaches to kite string, effortlessly lifting payloads up into the air. As you let go of the string momentarily, the device opens, releasing its contents with precision. The design has been refined since the initial images were shared, with an added gusset to provide extra support and a hook to simplify setup - securing the loop of string in place. When paired with a parachute-man, it functions seamlessly, requiring no additional supports or modifications to the kite string. Printed in PLA, this device is lightweight yet sturdy. The lid hinge snaps neatly into place after printing, eliminating any need for manual adjustments. To optimize its performance, it's best to position the device 20 feet beneath the kite and quickly bring the kite down between reloads - a pulley system or similar mechanism can greatly facilitate this process.
