Kitchenaid Rock Tumbler
cults3d
After crafting a basic prototype of this tumbler to refine some bronze-filled dice I made, I revisited the concept to create a cleaner-looking version. This design demands very little material and will soon be followed by a variant requiring only filament to build without any M3 screws or nuts. To assemble this model, you'll need: 2 x M3x30 3 x M3x18 5 x M3 nuts You can find video tutorials at https://youtu.be/9esZC7_mMno and https://youtu.be/ueDi7i0mzX8. This design can be easily printed in PLA or PETG, with available files for PLA "bearings" and TPU-lined "Pro bearings." The bearings are the same size as skateboard bearings, so you can use those if you have some spare ones lying around. To build this tumbler, follow the instructions provided in the images, which only require an Allen wrench for assembly. For a customized look, try filament layer swaps to match your Kitchenaid's style.
