I designed a new pasta extruder attachment holder after the KitchenAid KSMPEXTA eliminated the disc holder in its second generation. The original first-generation design featured a disc holder that attached to the top of the attachment, but I improved upon it by allowing users to store the attachment upside-down on top of the holder for easier storage and convenience.
