I've been experimenting with printing https://youtu.be/czIMD3xqZZI recently. I had printed many of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3344997, making modifications to hang small bags for trash while cooking. The designer even shared the Fusion 360 file, and I continued to customize it. However, they tend to snap or break when trying to remove supports. It seemed time to design my own from scratch. I'm improving with Fusion 360 and starting to use constraints effectively. I'll modify it again later for a 100% in-place print, but will leave the originals as is since the first one's pin broke overnight during a draft/test print at just 5%. I've already modified some parts (threading the pin and creating the pin cap and recessed area in the clasp). While printing the pin cap and threaded pin, I added slots for a flat-head screwdriver to each, but haven't printed them yet. A 5% print on the pin might not be sufficient; if it breaks again, I may use a 1/4" dowel rod or a machine screw and nut instead.
