Kitchen Towel Holder

A clever solution for freeing up countertop space is often a necessity in kitchens everywhere. With some spare screws lying around, I designed the spool components to print as one solid piece without an axis, but I've also included an alternate version with a plastic axis that can be assembled using only glue and small pieces of 1.75 mm filament for others to use. Instructions Never print all STL files! You'll only need two. The wall mounts are essential regardless of the choice, and one of the other components will depend on it. A) Lucky enough to have some 7mm screws on hand? Simply print "simple_towelholder-_7_mm_screw_required", screw in the screws until you've achieved the desired length, and use them as the axis. Mount the two parts to a kitchen towel roll, and use this entire assembly to figure out how far apart the holes for wall mounting will need to be. B) Choosing to make an all-plastic version? Print "simple_towelholder-_all_plastic". Line up one of each part so that their small holes align. Cut 5 pieces of 1.75 mm filament, approximately 15mm long, and insert them into the corresponding holes in the larger parts, making sure they fit tightly. Add a few drops of glue for extra security. Repeat on the other side. Continue by mounting it on the wall as you did in option A, and your done!
