Kitchen Towel Holder

Kitchen Towel Holder

thingiverse

This wall-mounted kitchen towel holder features a hinged arm for compactness when not in use and can be unfolded to hold a 10" length kitchen roll. A friend of mine had the same Premier Kitchen Towel Holder in his kitchen, and since it broke, finding a replacement would be nearly impossible because this item came as part of a limited-time free gift with the kitchen towels. Kudos to my friend for sharing pictures. I decided to design and 3D print a similar functioning holder using Blender. The holder works well when the body is printed in PLA, while the arm was printed in PETG (though PLA would be sufficient, but the added flexibility from PETG makes it easy for loading/removing). Please ask permission before commercializing more than ten sets. Instructions: 1) Assembled model is for reference only; do not print! 2) Print two set arms and one set body (or for smaller printers, one set Body_HalfA and one set Body_HalfB, then weld or glue the two halves). 3) Use 1.7 mm garden wire or PETG/PLA filament for the hinges. 4) Use double-sided tape for mounting on the wall. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Red Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 mm or less Infill: 30% or more Notes: General notes: Print at your strongest settings; recommended material is PETG, but PLA works too.
