My wife wore off the numbers on her favorite kitchen timer after 40 years of use. She bought a new one but still liked the old better (they don't build them liked they used to). So, I designed a replacement knob.My first version used SVG for the numbers and minute marks, but the marks were too small and gradually broke off. Also, the shaft opening was a little loose. So, I designed the second version with text after Fusion 360 more easily supported text on a path. I created a circle for the path and typed 2 digit numbers with spaces between until it flowed around the circle. Had to adjust the diameter of the path until it all looked good. The minute marks were done the same way using a single quote mark and spaces. This is a 2 color print. The project file has the pause for filament change.
