Greetings to all foodies and DIY enthusiasts, I'm excited to share my latest creation with you - a cost-effective, scalable design that makes cooking a breeze! As someone who loves hot soups, gravy, custard, and more, I was tired of spending hours stirring or whisking. So, I took on the challenge to design a solution that would save me time and effort. The result is a motion-generating concept that's reminiscent of a Spirograph. This ingenious design is perfect for liquids like soups, gravy, custard, but not suitable for thick fluids or solids. If you want to use it for thicker mixtures, you'll need to strengthen the design and add a heavy motor. My creation uses two geared motors, one with a gear ratio of 15:1 for whisking and another with a gear ratio of 100:1 for the mechanism. Both motors are rated 6-12 V and can be powered by an AC to DC adapter. I've also used connecting pins, wires, switches, and a potentiometer to control the motor. To add some extra stability, I've incorporated a spring from an old umbrella and a bearing from a figurine spinner. Please note that you may need to customize this design depending on the availability of parts like motors, switches, and others. Tips for assembly: * Ensure the machine base has some weight, such as a glass of water. * Adjust the height using the vertical links, with minor adjustments possible through the 3D printed screw on the base (0-1 inch). * Use a lightweight whisk to avoid straining the mechanism. Feel free to download the attached STL file for assembly and contact me if you need any assistance. Happy building!
