I'm sharing this kitchen sink filter design that solved my problems with store-bought filters, which created new ones in the process. The key benefit it achieved is allowing a high flow rate of water while blocking food particles completely. This design fits perfectly on my kitchen sink. I've decided to share it with others who might want to use it as a starting point for their own project. To help you get started, I'm including the Fusion 360 source files. Potential issues to be aware of: * PETG+ materials tend to shrink, so you may need to trim the outer ring slightly and enlarge the central hole. * The threads on the cap aren't tapered as they should be, making it difficult to screw them in properly. I'm planning to update this design soon. * The outer ring can bend after a few days of exposure to hot water, but it still functions.
