I designed this support for a kitchen scale with a round glass plate. It securely holds it in place while allowing it to slide in and out effortlessly. This support can be attached using glue or screws, both upside down or vertically, and with an open side facing upwards or sideways. The holes are carefully countersunk to accommodate 3x16mm wood screws that I had readily available. My scale plate has a diameter of 160mm and is 4mm thick, featuring a pencil-polished edge for added durability. You can view a video showcasing the support's features at https://youtu.be/dlgYYzdLoSA. Notably, two out of three holes fit perfectly with Ikea Besta (and potentially other models). This was an unexpected stroke of luck. As a result, you'll be able to mount the scale without compromising the existing holes when using 3x16mm wood screws.
