After ripping apart a cardboard box I needed to come up with something useful to do with the leftover roll. After some brainstorming and one failed prototype, this design stands out as the best option. There are two versions available: one with 6mm screw holes that can be attached directly to a wall using hot glue, and another solid version that is ready for immediate use on your wall. The inserts can be easily lifted to insert or replace the roll at any time. Future designs may accommodate different roller sizes, but this particular one measures 28x28mm.
