If anything is unclear please let me know !

The helper tool is just a supportive tool when assembling the design as well as mounting the parts on the wall. All the parts have a snug fit so a little bit of force is required to push the rods in. the two arm hinge parts can mounted in a correct and wrong way. make sure you assemble it so that the arms point towards eachother. to cut the main rail wooden rods first attatch the wall mounts to the wall and then place the wood inside to cut it on the two outer edges on both sides.

How the helper works:

Cut the rods like shown in the video with the helping tool. The dots indicate the ammount of rods needed.

How to print it:

20% infill, 3 Parameters, no supports

What you need to build this:

neodymium magnets (diameter = 5mm, height 2.5mm)

strong doublesided tape like 3M tape or doublesided waterproof clear tape that you get on aliexpress. otherwise you can also screw the rail mounts into the wall.

wood rods (4mm diameter)

Lengths of wood rods for knife holder:

14mm

28mm

55mm x2

72mm x2

85mm x2

The lengh of the hook depends on the usage, so does the lenght of the two main rail rods.

Thanks Cedric for great help in this project!

How I Designed This
Category: Kitchen & Dining
