Kitchen Garbage Can Connectors. Our cardboard box was beginning to show signs of wear. I discovered this .3 mm board, coated with a thin layer of plastic, that is remarkably sturdy. Since I didn't have complete sheets, I ended up with extra connectors for the additional sections. The type of board used remains unclear, but it's likely available online or in craft stores. It utilizes only one connector shape for every position. The connectors are simply pressed into place. They've been functioning properly over the last couple of months, but could be secured with glue if needed. Design: Yes, a single connector is employed throughout the entire design. As I worked on this project, I began by using a corner connector. However, I soon found myself wondering how to print it without relying on supports. This led me to develop an alternative solution. By using one style of connector and offsetting them, I was able to achieve a print that didn't require any supports. You can see in the image the deliberate offset used for the bottom connectors.
