Kitchen Drawer Organizer Brackets/Braces
thingiverse
My wife wanted our kitchen drawers to be highly customizable, so she scoured Pinterest for inspiration and discovered some fantastic ideas. However, I decided to take a more hands-on approach and design a comprehensive system that would perfectly fit all our drawers. To get started, we bought some high-quality poplar planks (1/4" x 2 1/2" x 48") and cut them into the various lengths needed for each drawer. This was an essential step in creating a sturdy framework. The braces or brackets worked beautifully, but I found that reducing the print size by 2-3% made all the difference in terms of fit and tightness. I opted to print mine at 99%, which gave me the perfect balance between snugness and ease of installation. I'm excited to see what others create with this design, so please be sure to share your projects and showcase your creativity. Your makes will surely inspire me to try out new ideas! UPDATE: After several weeks of tinkering, I finally completed a side mount that allows you to secure the boards in place when they come into contact with the drawer edges. This clever addition should prevent any sliding or movement, keeping everything perfectly aligned and stable.
