When changing kitchen cupboard doors, on some the 35mm hinge holes are cut out but the fixing screw holes are not drilled or marked. This gadget saves a bit of time by not having to remove the hinges from the cupboard or having to offer up the new (heavy) doors on to the hinges to mark or locate the fixing screw positions. You can mark and pre-drill all the new doors at the same time before removing the old doors.
