Kitchen Blender Spare Part

Kitchen Blender Spare Part

My Mother took her kitchen blender to Morrisons, a well-known UK supermarket chain, where she purchased it under model number WMLITWGJB001. The blender's design has a significant flaw in that a plastic piece protrudes from underneath the jug and can easily break if not properly assembled onto the base. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened - the plastic piece snapped off. To access the faulty part, two screws must be removed from a cover. Once these screws are out of the way, the broken plastic piece will fit snugly into its place, replacing the screws altogether. The problematic plastic component is an interlock that triggers a mechanical switch when the jug is securely locked in place. By identifying this issue, I hope to have helped someone with a similar problem find a solution.
