We wanted the plug to not flop around so added a socket for it that also tends to hold the wrapped cord on place when inserted from the front. This makes the mixer even taller but keeps the cord from unspooling off the mixer. A fusion of Kitchen Aid Mixer Cord Holder by DanLacey and 3-Prong Plug Cover by KJ7HYQ and not so much a remix as a mashup.
