Kitchen Aid bowl lid
thingiverse
This is a custom lid for a Kitchen Aid bowl (4.8l). My younger sister is an enthusiastic home cook who enjoys baking bread and pastries. To accommodate her needs, she often places her bowls in the fridge for dough to rest or simply to cover them. However, she prefers not to use aluminum foil due to its environmental impact. So, I designed a custom lid for her bowls at her request. Initially, I was skeptical about creating this design because it pushes the limits of my printer's capabilities with an outer diameter of 223mm. Fortunately, my Ender3 is capable of handling such prints. The lid consists of two parts: one part forms the lid itself with a central hole, and the second part serves as a knob for easy lifting. This design allows for convenient use and easy maintenance. As always, I've included inventor files for anyone who wants to modify or enhance this design. Happy printing!
