Kit Kat Klock Replacment Hands
thingiverse
I needed some spare hands for an antique Kit Kat clock from the 1950s. I wasn't picky about getting exact replicas, but I did find some alternatives that fit the bill. With my 3D printer humming along at .1mm layers and 100% infill, I was able to produce these new hands in just 20 minutes using a solid diaphragm every layer in ABS. The result is a tight fit for sure, and it took a bit of force to get the hands onto the clock. My own nubs were worn down a bit, so a little resizing might be needed in the hands mounting holes. Overall, I'm thrilled with how they turned out, and I've already started designing replacement tails. If you're not particular about authenticity, keep an eye out for those designs – they'll be worth checking out!
