Kirkdale House 3
sketchfab
This ancient carved rock resides at Kirkdale House in Kirkcudbright, Dumfries and Galloway. Please note that this is a private property where access to the carved rocks is strictly prohibited. The block in question forms part of a larger boulder that has been fractured over time due to natural processes. Unfortunately, the location of the remaining fragments remains unknown. The composition on this panel is remarkably intricate, featuring extremely deep and regular cup-and-rings patterns. Due to its cemented position on the floor of the shed, it was challenging to capture the base of the rock with available resources, resulting in varying quality levels throughout the model.
