Kirk crafts a spear point with serrated edges. Located in the Hardaway site, Stanly County, North Carolina, it's from the Early Archaic period, roughly 7000 to 6000 BC. This sharp tool is carved out of metavolcanic rock. Measuring 62.6 mm long and 30.1 mm wide, with a thickness of 8.7 mm, its precise dimensions are well-documented. Cataloged as 2101a404 (specimen 2) in the North Carolina Archaeological Collection at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Research Laboratories of Archaeology, this artifact was recreated by Abigail Gancz.
