Kirk crafts a razor-sharp spear point with precision. Found in Hardaway site (31St4) of Stanly County, North Carolina, this Early Archaic era relic dates back to 7000-6000 BC. Forged from strong metavolcanic rock, the spear point measures 66.1 mm in length, 30.1 mm in width, and a sturdy 7.8 mm in thickness. Documented as catalog no. 2101a404 (specimen 1), this artifact is part of the North Carolina Archaeological Collection, housed at Research Laboratories of Archaeology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, thanks to Abigail Gancz's meticulous model.
