Fahrafeld's St. Catherine's Church stands tall, its history etched within the village's municipality of Pottenstein. As early as 1434, a chapel in Fahrafeld was documented, serving as a testament to the community's spiritual roots. The sacred building faced destruction during the Second Viennese Turkish siege in 1683, but it rose from the ashes and was rebuilt in 1688. Despite its earlier grandeur, the chapel had fallen into disrepair, prompting Max von Ferstel to undertake a comprehensive renovation between 1888 and 1889. A subsequent restoration took place between 1974 and 1975. In total, 144 photographs were captured with a Sony A6000 camera, expertly processed using Reality Capture's advanced technology.
