This is Kinoko Magnet, a small variation of Kinoko Lamp. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930147\n"Kinoko" means "mushroom" in Japanese.\nA tiny micro computer controls this lamp, changing its color at random intervals every so often. https://youtu.be/ZdwHaAPvAQA\nThe initial concept behind this project originated from a smart LED color display that utilized wall spaces effectively. These smart LEDs come equipped with small computers and can handle data with incredible speed and precision.\nWhen sending commands to the LED chain, for example "R-G-B," each LED reads one value and resends the remaining values to the next LED in sequence, allowing for seamless data transfer without requiring numerous wires.\nOnly a single wire is needed to control an impressive 1,024 LEDs connected in this manner. The color settings are defined by eight-bit RGB codes, like "255,0,0 (Red)". Consequently, data like "R-G-B" translates into "255,0,0, 0,255,0, 0,0,255".\nThe cost of these advanced LEDs is remarkably reasonable at $0.33, making them an extremely viable option.\nHere you'll find the C source code: http://www.11moon.com/davinci/kinoko_magnet/Kinoko_Magnet2.zip\nIf any difficulties arise during construction, feel free to reach out for assistance.\nnote: It can be quite challenging to acquire identical electrical components at different times or locations.\nMoreover, you don't need to replicate the exact parts listed. Instead, try your best to use equivalent alternatives that achieve the same outcome.\nTo purchase a pre-assembled Kinoko Magnet directly from Japan, click here (sorry for limited availability): https://minne.com/items/2858080\nIndividuals living outside of Japan are encouraged to email me at gtofuji@gmail.com for assistance.\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter: DaVinci 1.0\nRafts: No rafts required\nSupports: None necessary\nResolution: 0.3mm layer thickness\nInfill: Set to 20% for optimal results\nNotes: Utilize normal print speed and standard shell thickness with the added touch of a stick-based paste, such as Tombow or Shiwanashi PIT. The total printing time amounts to approximately 50 minutes.\nAdditional preparation and assembly steps should be completed within 30 minutes, taking your total completion time under an hour (ABS requires a further 7 minutes).
