Human infantry heroes stand at the base of Kings of War, utilizing miniatures on 25mm round bases created by manufacturers like Wiz Kids or Games Workshop. These bases also fit well with Pre-Painted D&D Miniatures. This is a standard size for miniature bases and allows players to use their minis in multiple games, such as Pathfinder and other tabletop games. The tray measures 20mm x 20mm, enabling solo models to occupy the correct footprint without rebasing. A slot within the tray accommodates 3mm round magnets that are 2mm deep, but using them is optional. This design can be printed with a resin printer like Elagoo Mars; however, it remains uncertain how well it will work on an FDM printer, as one has not been set up yet.
