Kingroon KP3 Screen relocation
thingiverse
I was tired of reaching under the print bed to try to make picks on the touch screen so I designed this adaptor and case. My ribbon cable had plenty of length to move the screen. For assembly I used the following hardware: To attach the Lower adaptor to the existing case... The adaptor mounts to the inside of the case. (4) M3 x 4 mm screws (screws left from removing the screen from the existing case) To attach the screen to the Upper Case... (4) M3 x 4 mm screws To attach the Upper Case to the Lower Adaptor... (4) M3 x 12 mm Socket Head Cap Screws The printed holes should be the correct size to either tap the threads into the parts or use the screws to form the treads into the holes. Step Files are included in case anyone wants to refine this design. The parts were printed in the orientation shown in the pictures of the parts laying on the print bed.
