This model requires glue to be assemble and, with a bit of real string, it is (partially) functioning! Check the instructions for more info :) I tried to make a resin rope variant with a crane fixed in place, but none of my attempt survived printing well enough to make it worth it. Getting some cooking string and using that as a rope will always be cheaper and (I think) look better. That said, if you don't care about movement you can always glue its parts. I can picture this piece being a center piece of a map with building under construction, a mine or an excavation of some sort. In ports it can be used to load and unload ships as well as to capsize enemy vessels (like the Claws of Archimedes!). All the objects are supported and test printed.
