KingKong 260 Improved Landing Gear
thingiverse
Landing gear for the KingKong 260 quadcopter, designed to elevate the craft by a significant 18mm above its stock landing gear, providing enhanced stability in grassy terrain. The original landing gear was prone to falling off, but this upgraded version is securely fastened using motor screws. To facilitate printing without supports, I divided the design into two parts. Users can choose to utilize either part or both, offering flexibility and customization options. If opting for the base component, simply bond the two parts together with epoxy resin. During assembly, I discovered that the stock 7mm (excluding head) screws were marginally long enough to secure through the base, but I replaced them with longer 10mm (excluding head) M3 screws for added assurance.
