Kingdomino setup tray
thingiverse
This is a set-up board for Kingdomino designed to be compact and functional. A Facebook post on the BoardGameGeek group by Christopher Urinko inspired this project, showcasing a version made from laser cut plywood. Without access to a laser cutter, I created a digital model and printed it out instead. The design includes spaces to attach 8mm x 3mm magnets, allowing the board to be easily disassembled and stored in its box, although it does slightly lift the lid. The set-up board is paired here with the KingDomino addon by Wile, which I highly recommend as a great addition to the game. This is my first uploaded design, so please let me know what you think! EDIT 2018-08-23: New .stl files for a smaller version (kd3_) have been uploaded, designed to print on a 150mm square bed as suggested by Torkijo. This compact setup consists of three pieces and requires eight magnets in total. I haven't printed this version yet, so please share your experience if you decide to give it a try.
