Kingdomino - Castles
thingiverse
Hi! I really loved Wile's Kingdomino Castle, what a fantastic design! However, I wasn't too keen on the idea of printing an entirely new insert for the game. So, I decided to get a set of castle tokens that fit neatly inside the original insert. CASTLE I printed Wile's castles (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2492051) at 80% size, which is the maximum compatible with the game insert. This made them 40 mm high. I changed filaments at Z = 29 mm to achieve different colors for the roofs. BASE I created brand new bases that match perfectly with the castles, using the logo from 3E8's castle (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2790549). These bases replace the original cardboard inserts and can be stored in their designated space. To get the color effect, a filament change at Z = 1 mm is necessary. INITIAL TILE FOR 3 PLAYERS GAME (New Addition) I wanted to include simple initial tiles for playing with three players on a 6x6 grid. The idea came from Jeff Beson's proposal on BGG (https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/168732/2x2-start-tiles-3-player-games). These thin pieces (1 mm thick each) can be stored on top of the game tiles. Filament change at Z = 0.8 mm. I hope you enjoy the design and have a great time playing the game!
