Kingdomino 5x5 border boundary using straws
thingiverse
In the Kingdomino tabletop game, I've encountered difficulties in conveying to novice players that their tiles can only extend five spaces up and five spaces across, so I decided to create a simple educational tool. Assembling a square from four 6.5mm straws and four L-bracket corners results in a perfect square bracket that clearly illustrates the boundaries of their playing area, making it easier for them to understand the game's mechanics. To further enhance the learning experience, I added an optional "L Joint" component that allows players to create a cube or other shapes, introducing more complexity and fun. This accessory is made possible by 3D printing technology, which requires minimal support structures. If you find this design helpful, it would bring me immense satisfaction to see your creations and hear about how they've positively impacted your gaming experience. As an added bonus, I'd be thrilled if you considered sharing a bitcoin or two as a token of appreciation, which would help me reach my pre-apocalyptic savings goal. You can show your gratitude by sending 1Py3TUeR8noBN2giHyFV1GfB6x3Kh2WEVv and including a note that says, "Hi 3E8, thanks for the Kingdomino thing... my life is infinitely better on account of it, and please accept this small handful of bitcoins in gratitude."
