Sora leads the Disney/Square Enix Kingdom Hearts video game series as its main protagonist. He's an energetic young man who lives with his close friends Riku and Kairi on Destiny Islands, and all three are eager to explore beyond their home. When darkness envelops their island, Sora and his friends get separated, but he ends up in the town of Traverse Town where he discovers the Keyblade he possesses and joins forces with Donald Duck and Goofy. Together, they embark on a journey through various worlds to assist King Mickey while Sora searches for his missing friends. Throughout their adventure, the trio safeguards the worlds they visit from numerous villains. Sora is voiced by Haley Joel Osment in the English version of the game and Miyu Irino in its Japanese version. The character has also made notable appearances in other series games, reprising his role in manga and light novel adaptations based on those games.
