A Typical Shadow Features A Humanoid Body Structure With A Round, Spherical Head That Houses Circular, Glowing Yellow Eyes. Twisted Antennae Sprout From The Top Of Its Head, While Each Hand Boasts Three Clawed Fingers And Large Feet Lack Discernible Digits. Except For Its Eyes, This Heartless's Entire Body Is Black - A Color Scheme Shared By All Shadows, With The Exception Of Those Summoned By The Dark Follower, Which Are A Deep Purple. The Name Shadow Serves As A Reference To The Entity Itself, Highlighting Its Status As The Most Basic Type Of Heartless. Alternatively, The Name May Also Refer To The Shadow's Ability To Flatten Itself Into A Silhouette On The Ground And Become A Literal Shadow.
