I worked as Creator of Learning and Discovery Experiences at Westport Library MakerSpace, a six week position. Staff, patrons, and I created cardboard chess pieces to dress up as. Participants were scanned using Autodesk 123D Catch software. Mesh data was refined with Meshmixer edits and fixed with Netfabb repairs. Individual models were integrated into the base in Tinkercad. See more information here: http://monograph.io/joshburker/community-chess-sethttps://www.flickr.com/photos/senorwences/albums/72157658496957881. The instructions below guide the library production process. The design was printed on a MakerBot Replicator in ABS at 0.3mm resolution and 10% infill density.
