This limestone stele showcases King Sennacherib praying before divine symbols. The inscription reads: "Sennacherib, the great king, mighty king, ruler of the universe, monarch of Assyria, and leader of the four regions of the world, favored by the great gods. Ashur and Ishtar have granted me an unstoppable weapon and opened my hand to destroy Assyria's enemies. Relying on their immense power, I led my armies across the globe, forcing all princes residing in palaces from every quarter to submit to my authority. At that time, I expanded Nineveh, my royal city, broadening its market streets enough for a regal highway and illuminating it like a bright day. The wall and outer wall were skillfully constructed and elevated to towering heights. (...) If any of the people living in that city demolishes their old house and builds a new one, and the foundation of their home encroaches upon the royal road, they will hang them on a stake above their residence."
