King Odenathus and Guards

King Odenathus and Guards

myminifactory

Septimus Odenathus developed and ruled the Kingdom of Palmyra, from the city of the same name. A client state to Rome, Odenathus would act as a buffer between the Empire and Sassanian Persia. Odenathus would win several victories against the Persians, crossing the euphrates and even besieging Ctesiphon. Odenathus would be assassinated in 267AD during immediately following a campaign in Anatolia. Maybe he should have doubled his guard! This set contains one Odenathus figure and two guard figures. Odenathus' head is made to fit on the armored bodies to provide further posing options for this storied King. This set also pairs well with our earlier Zenobia kit and Palmyran infantry.
