King Kong roof segment
prusaprinters
This is a roof segment and the central spire for an hexagonal roof for the King Kong scenario using Wings of Glory miniatures. You will need to provide your own aircraft and your own giant ape. You need to print six of the roof segments and one of the spire. I glued the segments in pairs (watch that you orientate each segment correctly!) and then glued some plasticard strips over the joins. I used a short length of plastic tube for the flag pole and a mapping pin for the dome on top. My geometry was a little off and so I had to make the strips wide enough to cover the gaps. The reason for building the roof from pairs of segments and a removable spire was so that I could store it easily in my gaming box but there is nothing stopping you from gluing everything together if you wish. I used superglue for assembly and Valejo Terracotta paint for the tiled section The painting looks a bit 'agricultural' as my airbrush compressor died after undercoating everything. You can see photos of it being used in a game here: https://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/showthread.php?31363-King-Kong-reigns-supreme You can follow the evolution and construction of the roof here: https://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/showthread.php?31178-King-Kong-base You can download the rules from here but you will need to register as a member of the forum to do this: https://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2470 Category: Toy & Game Accessories
