Originally from a YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_22x26qYPA), this fascinating demonstration features linear movement creating intriguing wave patterns. Brahim Koubaa shared the 57hs22 step motor used in the model, which was designed with Solidworks 2015 and rendered using Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition. GIFs were created with Photoscape, while IrfanView was utilized for edits on the renders. The model is available in multiple formats including 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files, which can be viewed on iOS and Android devices using the Simlab Viewer app. Additionally, the ZIM file contains animations. A gif from a video by David Beuger is also included, with a link to the original video in the comments section.
